Gas Prices Falling

Wow, the price gas has dropped 35 cent in the past month in my area I had better get out there and travel the world.  Who are they kidding really?  I read an article in the local paper about how the price of Gas was now at pre Katrina levels and people where filling up.  Does this paper work for the gas companies or something?  I will not be happy until it get back down to $2.04 a gallon that’s what it was a year ago at this time we are still 51cent higher. So for every two gallons that’s an extra dollar more on the gas bill.
People think the economy is getting better because of it and they’re wrong the damage has already been done.  I would be surprised if this years Holiday spending is the same as last years.  I know I will have to spend less this year because my gas card bill is 20% higher than last year at this time which means I have to pay 20% more to get them paid off.
We need to pressure our government to find more of the resources we need or to find alternative fuels.  We also need to put some sort of price cap on the cost of gasoline so in the future we will not go through what just happen in September an October again.  I would suggest a profit cap on big oil companies stating that this is how much it cost to run the company this it what we need to expand and no more.  I know this is America and the skies the limited, but we are talking about energy something we depend on as much as water and the air.  We don’t make it hard to get air and water therefore we should not make it hard to get the energy we need to run our cars and to heat our homes!
